Salary: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 Per Year (Based on full time or seasonal hire)
Overview
Team Lyman continues to grow as we are looking for person(s) to be part of a tremendous opportunity to specifically coach beginner and intermediate golfers.
This opportunity ideally can begin as early as the beginning of March and is either a position that last through late October or could be extended to a year round position based on the background of the candidate and desires of the candidate.

- Work alongside 2020 & 2022 U.S. Kids Top 50 Kids Coaches in World and PGA Jr. League #Gamechanger Award Winner for 2019, 2020 and 2021 in John Dipollina, PGA
- Work alongside 2022 CT PGA Player Development award recipient in Jason Gobleck
- Work alongside 2020 CT PGA Player Development award recipient in Jon Wilson
Experience Required
- Class A Professional preferred
- LPGA Apprentice will be considered
Essential Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Director of Golf to plan and develop instruction programs that appeal to all golfer segments in the surrounding market
- Provides golf instruction to private students
- Coach the Golf Fore Women program
- Head Coach for spring/summer/fall PGA Jr. League teams
- Coach spring/summer junior camps as needed
- Provides training and development to other instructors as directed and as needed
- Assists in the supervision and upkeep of the practice facilities to ensure that safe, clean, organized and professional conditions exist throughout
- Assists in keeping all teaching aids and instruction inventory in excellent condition
- Utilize state-of-the-art teaching and learning theories, and be able to integrate the use of training aids, video and club fitting into the facilities instructional programs when necessary
- Participate in administrative duties as directed and as needed to ensure smooth operation of the golf instruction program

- Perform some of the opening and closing duties of the instruction program as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Benefits
- No pro shop attendant time asked
- 30-40 hours per week teaching with the ability to go to 50 hours in prime time of season (April through mid-October)
- Only asked to work one of two weekend days

- Encouraged to play CT PGA/Open tournaments throughout the season
- Ability to utilize facility for 12 months a year as Lyman has three indoor Trackman 4 launch monitors for usage
- Ability to play golf complimentary on our 45 holes of golf as well as two practice facilities
- Cost on all hard goods and soft goods
