The Seabrook Island Club is hiring an Assistant Golf Professional. The position pays an hourly rate but has tremendous annual earning potential.  

The Seabrook Island Club is a private, member-owned facility located within a gated island community just outside of Charleston, SC.  The club offers 2 championship 18-hole golf courses, racquet club, beach club and pools, 2 restaurants and an equestrian center.

Experience Required

• Female applicants are encouraged to apply. 
• Must possess an in-depth knowledge of the golf swing and ability to successfully provide instruction to ladies while building a strong ladies lesson clientele.
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• LPGA or PGA Member or enrollment in one of those programs
• Prior experience teaching at a private club preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Essential Responsibilities

The Club's Assistant Professionals are involved in all aspects of the golf operation from positive interactions with members and guests, golf shop operations, tournament operations, instruction of an active schedule of weekly clinics, golf schools and private lessons, merchandising and working closely with the outside service staff, starters and rangers.
