What is Tetherow?

Tetherow Resort encompasses 700 acres in Bend, Oregon and provides our guests and members with an award-winning golf course, 50-room boutique hotel, pool, three restaurants, fitness facility, vacation rental homes, event pavilion and various residential neighborhoods. What you’ll do...

• Supervision of the player service staff, including scheduling, performing all daily activities of the golf operation
• Cultivate a working environment rooted in mentorship and accountability.
• Implement all revenue and service strategies including staff training and follow-up report production
• Represent the club in various tournaments and various other golf related functions to promote good will and exposure for the club; play golf with members, guest and juniors, as requested
• Assist with the coordination and execution of outside golf events
• Assist in develop, implement and coordinate member golf events, including participation in meetings with committees, planning, budgeting and scoring
• Be available daily to communicate with members and guests and act as an ambassador of Tetherow
• Inspect daily (at minimum), golf shop and clubhouse perimeter areas for cleanliness and maintenance of standards
• Administer the GHIN handicap program
• Keep Director of Golf & Golf Operations Manager informed of member/guest reactions, comments and/or problems that arise
• Manage all golf operation supplies, including scorecards, pencils, tees, etc.
• Working directly with the Director of Golf to promote your professional goals and career path
• Communicate clearly and develops strong working relationships with team members throughout the property, contributing to a positive and cohesive working environment
