Position Title: Assistant Golf Professional / Junior and Women’s Golf Coordinator

Department: Golf

Reports To: Head Golf Professional

Position Summary: Assist with all aspects of the Golf Operation.  Develop and nurture golfers through instruction and tournament activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent Columbia Country Club at all times in a Professional manner at all times
• Coordinate Junior Golf Program – 150 participants
• Run Women’s Golf Program – 60 Clinics and 40 Tournaments
• Teaches clinics and individual lessons in conjunction with Assistant Professionals
• Perform the daily operations of the golf shop - $750,000 in yearly sales
• Work closely with outside operations staff to ensure all daily member charges are accurate and billed in a timely fashion
• Play golf with a representative cross-section of the total membership
• Interpret and enforce policies, rules and regulations set forth by the golf committee
• Spread hospitality to all members and guests
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Head Professional

Essential Qualifications:

• Class A PGA member or registered PGA Apprentice.
• College education (four year degree preferred)
• This position requires a person that possesses both initiative and a strong desire to advance his/ her career in the golf business.
• Excellent member services skills and exceptional work ethic.

Compensation will be based on experience
