About the Position

Under the direction of Director of Golf, the Player Development and Golf Program Coordinator position is responsible for adding enjoyment to segments of our membership who have not yet fully developed their knowledge and love for the game of golf.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement programs to our members that will help develop their enjoyment of the game. This includes but is not limited to organized group instruction and other improvement activities, accompanied play, individual assessments, and crossover multi department non-traditional golf events.
• Organize social events that include a combination of golf and hospitality to expand the enjoyment of the game.
• Involvement in junior golf programming from beginner through PGA Junior League.
• Create a clear pathway to take someone new to the game to a competent and confident golfer.
  • Manage member payments and work of fellow golf professionals to ensure accurate records and compensation for services rendered.
  • Development of an introduction to golf program
  • Family programming
  • Involvement with an active WGA and Ladies 9 Hole Groups

Experience Required

• 2+ years as Golf Professional
• High School Diploma required College Degree preferred.   
• PGA/LPGA Certified or at least past Level 1
• Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills required
• Creativity, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Possess a passion for providing high quality Member service and commitment to exceeding expectations
