The industry keeps pushing for jobs in the shop! Though, what our Industry needs more than ever are qualified Instructors so that we can make Happy Golfers that will continue to play. GMS is proving that Golf Professionals will be more valuable to the industry after just 12 months teaching full time with us. As you’ll receive over 2,000 hours of teaching experience to put on your resume in just 1 year. 

And as you increase your value with your teaching experience … you increase your career opportunities inside and outside the shop!

We now have a couple of Instructors that have become GM’s at golf clubs (Michigan and Scotland), Director of Golf (Nevada), Head Professional (Scotland and Spain), Directors of Instruction & Lead Teaching Professionals (California, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Nebraska, England and Korea), plus Instructors that have moved up within GMS into Managerial and Sales positions.

Full time (12 months)

• Lead Instructor for 8 months(October - May) a Southern location 
• Lead Instructor for 4 months(June - September) at a Northern location

• Must understand that you represent each person working with GMS

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Implement and execute all facets of Golf Made Simple instruction 
• Be on your feet for 8 plus hours a day 
• Must be able to move around the golf course during On-course Instruction to assist Golfers with each shot 
• Understanding words we use to describe motion (Auditory), the visual concepts used in our demonstrations (Visual), and the movement associated with our touch (Kinesthetic) 
• Consistently looking to promote how to have fun playing golf by helping each Golfer to enjoy the game using the GMS strategies you learned in Instructor Training
