Eugene Country Club is seeking a full-time First Assistant Golf Professional/Tournament Coordinator.  ECC was established in 1899 and was later redesigned by renowed architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr.  The club has played host to five USGA Championships, four NCAA National Championships (most recently 2016) and numerous Pac-12 and Pacific Coast Amateur Championships.  The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in the golf business and have aspirations to become a Head Golf Professional. 

Tournament operations including strong knowledge of Golf Genius.

Experience with junior golf and PGA Junior League Golf.

Experience with buying is preferred but not required.

A friendly and outgoing personality is essential.

1.  Manage and oversee the golf staff in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.

2. Tournament operations - Run and coordinate all tournament activities.

3.  Assist in special ordering of clubs and merchandise, inventory and Pro Shop sales.

4.  Teach private and group lessons to men, women and juniors of all ages and abilites.

5.  Assist with junior golf and PGA Junior League Golf.

6.  Play golf with members.

7.  Assist with marshalling and starting upon occasion

8.  Keep Pro Shop neat and clean and assist with merchandising.

9.  May perform some buying.

10.  Assist in other areas as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
