Fox Chapel Golf Club is located in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area.  The 18 hole Seth Raynor design is noted as Top 100 golf course through various publications.  

The Assistant/Teaching Professional will be  responsible for being attentive to all members and guest needs while maintaining a clean, organized work environment through-out all of the golf operation. 

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

•Welcoming members and their guests to create a world class experience at a high end private facility. 

•He or she will be an ambassador for the game of golf to our members, our guests, and our employees.

•Daily operating responsibilities including opening and closing golf shop

•Daily assistance with receiving product, merchandising, monthly inventory & shop sales  

•Directing or assisting with a junior development imitative

•Teaching members of all ages and abilities in both individual and group setting 

•Playing golf with members

The right candidate will specifically have a strong teaching background with the ability to teach adult and junior instructional programs; clinics and individual lessons. He or she will also have a good expertise in merchandise operations of the club, including inventory, receiving, display creativity, promotion and sales of merchandise to help manage a successful golf shop.

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
High School Diploma Required

Experience:

Preferred 3-5 years of experience as an assistant golf professional.

1-3 years of developing and implementing golf instructional programs

1-3 years of merchandising and shop management experience

Maintain a credible golf game and remain current on teaching innovations

Preferred experience with Microsoft Office programs, Golf Genius Premium, POS Systems

Strong organizational and time management skills
