Green Valley Ranch Golf Club is an exceptional high-end semi-private golf course which is the perfect blend of harmony with the natural wetlands, creeks and towering cottonwoods that populate this small valley in northeast Denver. Designed by Perry Dye, the Green Valley Ranch Golf Club is located just south of Denver International Airport and within a short driving distance of downtown Denver and the Denver Tech Center. The award-winning Green Valley Ranch Golf Club is also host to the annual HealthONE Colorado Open Championships.

The 1^st Assistant Golf Professional reports directly to the Head Golf Professional and will assist with the management of the entire golf operation and work cooperatively with all other departments at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club (GVR).  The position will ensure that an “exceptional” golf experience is enjoyed by all members and guests as well as provide excellent guest service by exceeding their expectations.

• Guest Service/Hospitality Ambassador for the “GVR Experience”
• Golf Shop Merchandiser/Inventory Manager
• Outside Services Supervisor
• Golf Car Fleet Manager
• League Coordinator

Essential Responsibilities:

• Works directly with the Head Golf Professional to oversee and manage all golf services and daily golf operations in a professional and efficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer services, professional advice and assistance to all members and guests.
• Manage the purchasing, receipt, display, promotion, sales and inventory control of golf shop merchandise.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise all golf operations associates to include Assistant Golf Professionals, Golf Shop Staff, Outside Services Staff, Starters, and Player Assistants.
• Help develop and implement policies and procedures and enforce all rules and regulations.
• Organize, manage and execute a successful tournament/outing program to provide a high-quality experience for all customers.
• Work closely with the Head Golf Professional and the Colorado Open Golf Foundation to ensure all Colorado Open events are properly executed.
• Manage, verify and track daily play, golf cars, lockers, club storage and help facilitate proper controls.
• Oversee and manage the GVR Men’s and Women’s Golf Associations, and any outside league play.
• Assist in the marketing and promotion of all golf club events and services.
• Oversee and manage outside services operations, including golf car fleet and practice facility.
• Be informed on and promote all club activities and services.
• Manage the GHIN Handicap Program.
• Assist with the planning and budgeting for golf operations.
