Job Description:

We are in the process of
      hiring Assistant Golf Professionals for our Golf Operations department.
      Under the supervision of the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional, and
      the 1^st Assistant, the Assistant team works with the Golf Operations
      staff as directed. The Assistant Golf Professionals assists in managing
      all day-to-day golf operations, including Tournament Operations,
      Merchandising, Instruction, Outside Operations, Member Services, and more.
       

The Assistant Golf
      Professionals functions as the face of the Yellowstone Club Golf
      Operation. Assistant Golf Professionals work directly with the Outside
      Operations Manager to oversee the Outside Operations Staff, and Caddies,
      while conducting daily responsibilities. The Professional Golf Staff
      directly works with the Golf Shop Supervisor, ensuring an exceptional
      retail experience for members and guest.  Responsibilities include,
      but not limited to: event and tournament management; assisting with Golf
      Shop retail; leading the daily golf operation; teaching and club fitting;
      organization of camps and clinics; supervision & training Golf
      Operations staff; assisting inventory management; setting the standard
      for customer service in all facets; developing member relations, consistently
      keeping up with e-mails and phone messages, back office assignments/work,
      and more.

      position offered is a seasonal, summer position located in Big Sky,

Qualifications:

Qualified
      candidates must have:

      
• Bachelors’ degree or
             equivalent experience
      
• Class A member of the PGA
             of America
      
• Previous years
             of  golf professional experience
      
• Comprehensive knowledge
             of world class hospitality and service management 
      
• Valid Driver’s License
             with clean driving record
      
• Knowledge of USGA rules,
             handicap, course rating system, and the mechanics of the golf swing;
             All facets of the golf industry
      
• Ability to coordinate
             golf activities such as tournaments
      
• Ability to communicate clearly
             and concisely with staff, management, and membership; Maintain a
             congenial rapport with all those he/she comes in contact with
      
• Proven knowledge of world
             class customer service
      
• Excellent technical
             computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook)
