Overview

This position will work extensively with, but not limited to, the Ladies 18 Hole and 9 Hole Golf Associations. Assist with the management of daily golf operations and events including all merchandising functions, managing tournaments, teaching lessons and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond to customer needs in a courteous and professional manner are essential. 

Experience Required

Private Club experience preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

• Complete the requirements of PGA membership and maintain an active classification in the PGA of America.
• Provide excellent customer service, professional advice and assistance to all patrons.
• Assist our Ladies Golf Associations in managing their tournaments and outings.
• Assist Head Golf Professional and other staff in the planning, preparation, and execution of club sanctioned events.
• Provide golf instruction and clinics that is consistent with instructional methods, policies and procedures.
• Assist in the purchasing, receipt, display, inventory, promotion and sales of merchandise.
• Manage the handicap program.
• Assist in planning and budgeting for golf operation.
• Be informed on and promote all club activities and services.
• Control and manage play: ensure guest check-in and fee collection with starters.
