The Physical Education, Recreation, and Athletics (PERA)Department is seeking an individual with experience in working within a community of diverse students and colleagues. Successful candidates will by their administrative, professional skills, leadership and service demonstrate they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of athletics, the department and our community. The Department is currently accepting applications for a part-time appointment as Assistant Coach of Women’s Golf. This is a part-time (.30 FTE) faculty position and is not benefits eligible. Appointments are made on an annual basis.

Assist the head coach with all aspects of the program including but not limited to recruiting, fundraising, tournament operations, on-course coaching, and other duties as assigned. Assistant Coaches at Wellesley College are employed on a part-time basis. This part-time position will also provide significant opportunities to earn additional compensation by teaching lessons year round at our indoor and outdoor facilities.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree is required. LPGA/PGA membership is preferred. Qualifications should include competitive playing experience, and an interest in coaching. CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required upon hire. Must possess a valid US driver’s license. This position requires a background check including driving record. Must be available weekday afternoons 4 pm-6:30 pm and Saturday/Sunday mornings and afternoons as scheduled. Travel for spring break and League Championships required.
