Dorset Field Club is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional for the 2018 Golf Season. Duties for the position include, but are not limited to:
- Tournament operations (Women's Day, Weekly Hat Draw, Member/Guests, etc.)
- Teaching (Women's Clinics, juniors, some private lessons)
- Golf Shop (Member and guest service, merchandising, inventory maintenance, etc.)
- Customer Relations (Rangering, greeting, etc.)
- Playing (Weekly "Twilight" game on Thursday evenings, playing in Women's Day, playing with member groups, etc.)
The professional staff at Dorset Field Club is small, but the right candidate will enjoy all aspects of the business, and interacting with people in many different ways around the Club. Applicants must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and evenings. While teaching is a valuable part of this position, this is an Assistant Professional position and all duties will hold equal importance.
Experience as a golf professional at Private clubs is a positive, but all interested parties are encouraged to apply. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Rough dates for the position are mid to late April through mid October.
