About the Club: This 9-hole semi-private member owned golf club opened in 1956 in he historic town of Colusa, one hour north of /sacramento. But utilizing varying tees, this challenging layout becomes an 18 hole, par 72 regulation course. It features, bunkers, water hazards and beautiful views of he Sutter Buttes and is very walkable. 

There is a driving range, putting green, and practive chipping area. The clubhouse offers a snack bar and golf shop. The bar / lounge and banquet room are available for event rentals for nearly 200.

Position Description: The General Manager / Head Professional will manage all golf course operations, including but not limited to the following:

*Work with head groundskeeper in establishing daily tasks, overall standars and accountablility.

*Manage part-time personnel and assist in developing those job responsibilities.

*Oversee the overall presentation of he course and facility.

*Manage golf shop, merchandising, cart and practice range operations.

*Work closely wiht the Board of Directors to improve the course and facilities.

*The contract to operate the snack bar and food and beverage operations wiil be awarded to an outside vendor.

*Promotion of the club

*Membership sales and retention

*Being visible

*Teaching is a plus but not a priority at this time

Experiance / Qualifications: Including but not limited to the following:

*Must be a LPGA member in good standing

*Knowledge of golf course maintenance

*Golf shop operations

Compensation and Benefits:

The club will provide a compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but not limited to :

*Base salary

*Annual performance bonus

*Vacation of two weeks / year
