Maplewood Club is looking for a highly motivated person with a strong personality. A successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to, instruction, playing with members, tournament operations, inventory management, sales, handicapping and club fitting. Teaching and playing with members are important aspects of this position.  Teaching responsibilities will include individual and group lessons, playing lessons, club fitting, women and adult clinics. Time frame for this position is approximately April 1st to Nov 1st but both dates are flexible. TOTAL ANTICIPATED COMPENSATION FOR THIS POSITION IS $57,000. 

Maplewood Country Club is an active, 18 hole private facility. The club is located in northern New Jersey, approximately 20 miles west of New York City. On average the club has approximately 20,000 rounds played a year with the bulk of the activity happening between Memorial Day and the end of October.  

A candidate should have experience in teaching women, juniors and adults.  A candidate should have a good understanding of tournament operations and the use of the Golf Genius tournament program.

Directly responsible for teaching, overseeing women's and men's tournament programs, playing with members and merchandising.

A successful candidate is eligible for health benefits after 90 days of employment and is eligible for a 401k program after 6 months of employment.  Meals are also provided while on duty.
