LOUISVILLE CC

Established in 1908, Louisville CC is a very active social and family-oriented country club.  The golf program involves a championship 18-hole Walter Travis design golf course, 2-sided practice tee, short game area and 2 bay simulator room.  Also, the club has active tennis, pickle, and paddle programs along with a huge pool and a swim team.  Lastly, the club has an incredible chef and active social calendar.  

CONCEPT OF THE POSITION:

Responsible for the success and viability of the entire golf operation working alongside the Golf Professional staff.  The golf operation at Louisville CC is very well rounded and involves every demographic of the membership but has enormous growth potential.  The position could be considered an Assistant Professional in training, and may have teaching responsibilities, if the candidate so desires.  The position is perfect for an individual(s) who loves golf and is interested and willing to learn the business of engaging members to the golf program and the member service side of the industry.  The person(s) will maintain the center of all golf activity, the Golf Professional Shop, with the utmost professional standards creating a welcoming, and organized work area making sure that all members are encouraged to stay and visit.

The position is a 40 hour per week position and involves weekends. The position may require 2 or 3 people so to create an equitable work schedule for all.  The golf operations are closed on Mondays and the business manager will get another day off weekly.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

All negotiable based on experience and interest.  This position would be considered full time and therefore the person would be eligible for the insurance benefits package of the club.
