Overview

The LPGA Golf Professional role will be a seasonal position from approximately April 1stt through October 31st. The candidate will assist with the management of the daily golf operation including inventory management and sales, assume the lead role in 9ers tournament program, assist in the execution of all member tournaments, help in coordinating the junior golf program, teaching lessons and clinics and providing other professional services as needed. Candidates must possess experience in golf shop operations, merchandising and junior golf programs. This person will spend the majority of their time teaching, when not running the 9ers programs or helping with men’s tournaments.

Experience Required

• Current PGA/LPGA Member in good standing (LPGA Preferred)

• Exposure to a Country Club operation in recent years

• Team player

• Extensive Teaching experience – junior clinics, private lessons, OP36

• Capable of using computer software that includes but not limited to:

  Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel), Golf Genius tournament software,

  Jonas POS

• Always maintain a neat and professional appearance

  Essential Responsibilities

• Scarsdale Golf Club offers a membership base that offers a high demand for lessons. Teaching is the primary responsibility in this role when not running or assisting with tournaments.

• Ladies Golf Tournament Program(9ers)

• Participate in Play with the Pro tournament

• Visibly present weekend mornings (schedule based)

• Schedule, bill members accounts, oversee and teach OP36 junior program

• Develop ladies programs for golfers of all abilities

• Help in the inventory control of hard goods, soft goods, special ordering, receiving procedures, inventory adjustments, pricing

  procedures, display, and sales

• Coordinate with other departments for golf events to ensure the best

  possible experience for members and guests

• Provide Club performance knowledge and repairs when needed
