Assistant PGA/LPGA Professional

Salary:  $16.00-$20.00 Per Hour DOE

Total Anticipated Compensation up to $30.00 Per Hour

Overview

Oakdale Golf & Country Club is seeking a high energy PGA/LPGA Assistant to join our team.  Applicant should have a strong background in teaching with a specific passion for Jr Golf.  Candidates with significant tournament management experience and knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Software will be given extra consideration.

Key responsibilities:

The following are the duties that the Assistant Professional will carry out under the direction of the Head Golf Professional.

Operations

• To carry out opening and closing procedures for the golf operation.
• To welcome members and guests, collect fees, and process charges including pro shop purchases and guest fees.
• To assist in organizing and running all club tournaments.
• To mentor and instruct students in the Oakdale Acorn Jr Golf Academy.
• To perform custom club fitting and club repair.
• To act as the key point of contact if necessary, and perform all relevant operational duties in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.

People

• To promote positive daily member and guest relations, while supporting the golf shop, tournament, and golf teaching operations..
• To establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, Club officials, members, guests and visitors.

Experience Required

Minimum of 2 years private club experience is preferred but not required.
