WHAT WE OFFER 

Optios is seeking to hire a Head Teaching Professional and support Teaching Professionals to work with our Golf Operations team to plan, organize, promote and conduct technology driven golf instruction to meet the needs/demands for our MasterMind Program. To begin, all selected candidates will be classified as independent contractors with room for growth into full time employees.

 

 Total Anticipated Compensation:

         

  • Up to $100,000 per year commensurate with experience and position.

 

  • Part time/support teaching professionals will be paid per day for in-person events plus a monthly retainer for pre-event training, follow up and virtual sessions.

 

  • Optios expects support teaching professional candidates to be available for a minimum of 5-8 days per month for in person sessions and available as needed for virtual session reviews and training.

 

  • All pre-approved expenses, including travel, reimbursed by the company.

 THE HEAD TEACHING PROFESSIONAL ROLE

The Head Teaching Professional will report to The PGA Director of Golf Operations and will join a team of Teaching Professionals and Neuro Scientists using cutting edge neuro performance technology to provide putting instruction (both in person and virtually) to a very select group of individuals at various locations across the country.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • The Teaching Professional will implement and execute all facets of the Optios Golf MasterMind Program (MMP) at select facilities across the country.
  • Develop and teach neuro performance-based putting instruction, clinics and activities.
  • Incorporate state of the art teaching technology to teach pre-shot routine and applied science to putting.
  • Integrate the use of technology, teaching aids, video equipment when appropriate in programs.
  • Experience using BlastMotion (or similar) technology and video is a plus.
  • Ability to handle changing environments and lesson plans.
  • Follow lesson module and follow up post lesson.
  • Maintain professionalism and provide exceptional customer service and communications.
  • Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Respond promptly to students.
  • Experienced in written and oral business communications.
  • Experienced computer user including; Microsoft Word and Excel. and other applications, i.e. email, internet.
  • Participate in reporting of results which may include attending meetings, developing presentations or assisting in preparation of publications submitted to scientific journals.
  • Responsible for all other duties as assigned.

 

COMPETENCIES AND BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Class A PGA/LPGA Member preferred with significant instructional experience.
  • Highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people of varying ages, genders and abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under time pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Travel is required for events and data collection.
  • Must be highly organized and have ability to multi-task.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS

 

Key performance metrics will cover working with Director of Golf Operations and Neuro team to demonstrate:

  • Ability to adapt to and apply cutting edge neuro technology-based putting instruction.
  • Success of the MasterMind Program (MMP).
  • Customer feedback measures.
