Barrington Hills Country Club

Barrington Hills Country Club was founded in 1921 in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. This exclusive club sits on 220 acres of spacious rolling terain, and features a Par 71 course measuring 7,064 yards, golf practice facility including full grass tee, short game area and putting green. It also boasts excellent dining, a robust tennis & paddle program, swim team and an active pool, skeet shooting in the winter and a very close knit membership. It is a private member owned club with 225 golf members. The club will be celebrating it's Centennial Anniversary in 2021.

Assistant LPGA Professional or  Associate with 2-3 years experience in private club setting preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented  individual with a "servant's heart" that takes pride in their approach to delivering the highest level of customer service.

Duties and responsibilities include: excelling in the overall daily function of the entire golf operation and its activities including-

• Answering and exceeding all member questions, concerns, & requests, in person via email or telephone.
• Excellent organization and communication skills with members, guests and the entire club staff.
• Golf shop merchandising & special orders.
• Attractive merchandise display ideas and execution.   
• Assist with tournament operations for all Men's golf events.
• Assisting with ladies 18-Hole Programs.
• Leadership of ladies 9-hole Programs with the goal of exceeding ladies expectations.
• Junior golf program planning and execution of all junior instruction and on course play.
• The candidate will be an integral part of the golf professional staff and will help the golf operation continue to proudly serve this membership.The club has a warm, family oriented atmosphere with members who strongly support their professional staff.
