POSITION: 1^st Assistant Golf Professional

STONEWALL:

Stonewall is a 36-hole golf only facility located in Chester County PA.  Both of Stonewall’s courses are designed by world renowned course architect Tom Doak.  Stonewall’s Old Course is ranked as one of the Top 100 Modern Golf Courses by Golfweek Magazine.  In 2016 Stonewall hosted the USGA Mid-Amateur Championship.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The 1^st Assistant Professional will assist the PGA Head Professional in all aspects of the golf operation at Stonewall.  The 1^st Assistant Professional will have direct oversight of seasonal assistants and interns.  The 1^st Assistant will be involved with the entire operation which includes tournament operations, buying, teaching, merchandising, junior golf, PGA Junior League, mentoring PGM Interns, scheduling, communication and playing with members.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The Assistant Professional should be a self-starter, goal oriented, have a caring attitude, be willing to perform any task asked of them and most of all have a desire to learn and move their career forward.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Monitor daily play and assist members and guests
• High emphasis on teaching and coaching all levels of players
• Assist the Head Professional with inventory tracking
• Event management using Golf Genius software
• Playing with members and guests
• Merchandising of the Golf Shop
• Mentoring PGM Interns
• All other duties not limited to the above
