Golden Valley Country Club is an 18 Hole Private Facility located 15 minutes west of downtown Minneapolis. The course was established in 1914 and was designed by A.W. Tillinghast. Golden Valley is regarded as one of the top facilities in the state and has hosted many state championships as well as a few national championships in its rich history of golf.

The Assistant Golf Professional must be an outgoing individual with passion for the game of golf and customer service. The Assistant Professional will supervise the outside operations team and be an important part of tournament operations. They will work closely with the Head Professional with merchandising and day to day operations.

Salary Position: $2600/Month

April 1-October 31, 2020

• Manage the of day-to-day golf shop and golf course operations
• Provide superior customer service to all members and guests
• Assist with instructional programs including junior golf, adult programs, clinics, and individual lessons
• Follows directives and completes assignments with minimum supervision
• Performs all work according to established procedures
• Manage in execution of weekly men's and women’s events
• Assist in the receiving and displaying of merchandise
• Manage of GHIN handicap system
• Maintain aesthetics of the golf shop
• Supervision and training outside service staff
• Work well as a team with golf staff
