Overview

The Teaching Professional will assist with the development and implementation of the golf instruction program at Edgewood Country Club and target such programming for Men, Women and Junior Golfers. This position will provide professional golf instruction including private golf lessons, group clinics and assist with the marketing of new and existing player development programs to the facility’s membership. This offers a self-motivated instructor the ability to create their own schedule with some Golf Shop time required. The professional will be on site May 1^st to September 30^th.

 Experience Required

• -Maintain PGA of America or LPGA  membership in good standing in an active classification
• -Prior experience teaching individual and group lessons
• -Must possess exceptional communication skills
• -Experience with the latest in teaching equipment (i.e. V1, Trackman & Flight Scope)
• -Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf and rules of golf

Essential Responsibilities

• -Implement and execute all facets of a golf instruction program
• -Assist with the development of programming designed to attract new and existing golfers!
• -Research and incorporate state of the art teaching methods
• -Participate in the development, organization and implementation in our award winning junior golf programs
• -Assist with the implementation of a men’s and women’s instructional program; clinics and team clinics, individual lessons, rules and etiquette
• -Give personal instruction
• -Assist in supervision and upkeep of the practice facilities to ensure safe, clean, organized and professional conditions exist throughout

Compensation/Benefits

• -$300 per week salary
• -100% of lesson/Clinic income

• -Individual should make a total of $40k to $45 for the season
