JOB SUMMARY

Assistant Golf Professional team member is expected to consistently provide high level customer service experiences and superior quality of products for club members and guests of Butte Creek Country Club.

The primary focus of this individual will be women centric operations including lessons, clinics, merchandising, and women’s golf programming among other operational services. This position will also be actively involved in junior programming and working with kids. Golf Shop counter operations, tee sheet maintenance, merchandising, and receiving/inventory will also be key responsibilities of the position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Daily front counter operations including tee sheet management, phone inquiries, collections of sales transactions.
• Women’s golf planning and management
• Junior golf planning and management
• Play golf with women’s club and/or women groups on occasion
• Assist fellow professionals in member and guest tournament planning and implementation.
• Assist fellow professionals in golf shop merchandising; hard/soft good ordering, receiving, and display.
• Golf skills instructional program development for women and juniors
• Custom club fitting and sales
• Management of cart staff team members and services provided
• Assist with the management of club storage room and locker room services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Previous experience of outside service/cart staff positions
• Certifications/Licenses: PGA/LPGA PGM Program Participation and/or completion, Valid Driver’s License
• Other Knowledge/Skills & Abilities: Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, simple drawings, procedure manuals.  Ability to speak and interact with other team members and leadership.

• Physical Demands: Required to be physically dexterous, so that you can work on your feet for long hours (see physical requirements).
