About the Club: Tucked away just north of Red Bluff on 120 acres of gently rolling oak woodlands, Wilcox Oaks Golf Club is one of the jewels of the Northern Sacramento Valley, offering both a bold challenge to the most accomplished golfer and a welcome respite from the daily rigors of our lives.
Wilcox Oaks is a private 18-hole club that encourages a diverse membership, and offers a comfortable, friendly place for members to relax, enjoy each other's company, play golf, and to participate in a variety of social activities.
Wilcox oaks golf community enjoys year round play ranging from a casual evening of a couples scramble to a Pro Am tournament that is held in the spring. We have a wide array of club events for men, women, juniors and seniors. The club also offers tennis, swimming and a clubhouse with bar and dining areas.

Position Description: This position will be responsible for the operations of the golf shop, cart storage, course maintenance department, swimming pool, clubhouse maintenance as well as oversee the bar and restaurant. Assures operational compliance with local, state and federal laws.
Skills most desired include leadership, business, sales, marketing , promotion, merchandising, staff and member communication and management. This role will be the club's ambassador which will include getting away from the club to build relations with the community. This person must enjoy a small town atmosphere and ideally will live in Red Bluff.
The candidate must have knowledge of full operations of a private golf club, human resource and staff management, course maintenance, financial management and budget preparation.
The ideal candidate will have a resume that shows increasing responsibility and can learn as they go. Being adept to change is important as is the willingness to perform any job, big or small.
This position will report to the President and Board of Directors.

Qualifications:
- PGA member of Associate Level 2 or # in good standing
- Have financial experience commensurate to general manager
Compensation and Benefits: The club will provide a compensation package based on experience. This includes but not limited to:
- Base salary range $45,000 to $50,000 annually
- Multiple incentives (estimated but not guaranteed range from $6,000 to $15,000 or more annually)
- Vacation, family privileges and other benefits per company policies
