• Develops/coordinate the development of long range and annual business plan.
• Develops/implements and enforces general policy, rules and regulations governing golf facility usage.
• Oversees and approves specific operational policies, programs, procedures and training manuals in harmony with the mission and general policies.
• Monitors the performance of all daily operations, functions and services; assures high standards and total customer satisfaction.
• Develops emergency and safety procedures.
• Maintains active memberships in appropriate professional organizations.
• Attends conferences, workshops and meeting to keep abreast of current information and developments in the field.
• Oversee the management of all Winstar golf operations, including food and beverage operations and course maintenance.
• Be ultimately responsible for the performance of the golf shop operations, golf services, food and beverage operations and condition of the golf course at Winstar.
• Coordinates the development of operating and capital budges; monitors financial statement, reviews income and expenses relative to plans, implements corrective measures as needed, and report status on a monthly basis.
• Recruit, hire train, and supervise department heads and assists department heads in recruiting, hiring and training staff.
• Coordinate and ensure all written correspondence, reporting and communications for Winstar golf course.
• Coordinate plans with the food and beverage manager for all food and beverage needs, course food and beverage needs, banquets, outside events and catering for all golf functions.
• Coordinate with the golf course superintendent daily course maintenance activities and daily play needs
• Oversee an innovative tournament program that services all customer segments.
• Oversee the golf instruction, clinics, golf schools, and golfer development programs for all customer segments,
• Oversee golf facility marketing initiatives including all promotional materials, the promotion of the food and beverage department, play recruitment, yield management, golf packages, and outside events.
• Oversee all fiscal responsibilities and performance for the Winstar golf operations and food and beverage operations including planning, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and corrective management.
• Oversee all operational policies, procedures, controls, and fee structures to ensure the safekeeping of assets, inventory, and resources.
• Maintain and promote a superlative professional image with the community
• Oversee and work with department heads to schedule and supervise staffing.
• Conducts regularly scheduled staff meetings.
