Assistant Professional will assist the Head Golf Professional and two other assistant professionals in the management of day-to-day golf operations of Bloomington Country Club.

Position starts March 12, 2018 and ends November 11, 2018.  (Start and end dates are flexible if need be).

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

Player management

Opening and closing procedures

Assist in tournament operations

Assist in men's ladies, and junior golf events

Conduct individual lessons and group clinics

Assist in administration of the junior golf program

Assist in managing of outside operations staff to ensure the highest quality of customer service

Provide club fitting and repair services to members and guests

Play golf with members on a weekly basis

Assist in the inventory control of hard goods, soft goods,, and special orders including: ordering procedures, receiving procedures, inputting into point of sale, pricing procedures, displays, and sales.

Compensation:

Weekly salary of $600.00

Staff equipment agreement available

Junior golf instruction revenue between $1,200.00-$2,000.00

Individual and group instruction revenue between $2,500.00-$5,000.00

Clothing allowance of $250.00

Education expense of $500.00

Meals while working

Experience Requirements:

LPGA or PGA Member or apprentice in good standing

Actively pursuing LPGA and/or PGA Membership

3 years teaching/club experience

POS experience preferred

Event man tournament software preferred

Fundamental knowledge of the rules of golf and tournament operations

Strong organizational skills

Self-motivated with a desire to promote and market

Maintain a credible golf game and remain current on teaching innovations
