Featherie Sales Director — Remote + Travel

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized, outgoing Sales Director to help grow our women’s golf apparel brand across key retail and wholesale channels. This is a remote role with frequent travel to visit accounts, attend events, and build relationships in the golf community. Sales experience is a plus, but we’re equally excited about candidates who are naturally persuasive, proactive, and love connecting with people.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow wholesale sales: pro shops, golf clubs, resorts, boutiques, specialty retailers, and select regional accounts

  • Build relationships with buyers, golf professionals, merchandisers, and store teams—turning first orders into repeat business

  • Prospect and open new accounts through outreach, networking, and in-person visits

  • Plan and execute sales trips: schedule meetings efficiently, prepare samples/materials, and follow up consistently

  • Manage the sales pipeline (CRM or spreadsheet): track leads, outreach, order status, and next steps with zero items slipping through the cracks

  • Coordinate product presentations and seasonal line reviews (virtual and in-person)

  • Support events and trunk shows where helpful (tournaments, women’s golf groups, retail activations)

  • Communicate customer feedback to the team: best sellers, fit notes, pricing feedback, and assortment opportunities

  • Partner with marketing to ensure accounts have what they need (imagery, product info, brand story, merchandising support)

  • Strong re-order rates and account relationships that feel personal and long-term

  • Organized follow-through: every meeting leads to clear next steps and timely action

  • Stores look great: products are merchandised well and staff understand the brand

Who You Are

  • Highly organized: you love lists, systems, calendars, follow-ups, and keeping details tight

  • Outgoing and confident: you enjoy meeting new people, walking into a pro shop, and starting conversations

  • Self-motivated: you can work independently, set your own priorities, and push things forward

  • Strong communicator: clear emails, friendly phone calls, great in-person presence

  • Adaptable: comfortable with changing schedules and travel logistics

  • Sales experience is a plus, but not required if you have strong relationship-building instincts

  • Golf industry experience is a plus, but not necessary—curiosity and willingness to learn matter most

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly

Work Style & Logistics

  • Remote (work from anywhere in the U.S. preferred)

  • Travel required (regional and national travel; varies by season and event calendar)

  • Flexible schedule with some weekend/evening availability during events

Nice-to-Haves

  • Existing relationships in golf retail, clubs, or women’s golf communities

  • Experience with wholesale, account management, or CRM tools

  • Comfort presenting product and brand story to groups
